Stansted Airport Check-in Information

The check-in area is on the ground floor of the terminal building.

All flight numbers and destinations are displayed on the monitors at the entrance to the terminal, indicating which zone to check in at. Check-in zones (A, B, C etc) are clearly signposted by illuminated yellow cubes.

Please check your ticket or contact your airline for advice on checking in times, but as a general guide:

• Long-haul flights – check in three hours prior to departure (El Al passengers should allow three and a half hours).
• European flights – check in two hours before departure.
• UK and Ireland flights – check in one hour prior to departure.

Boarding
Keep an eye on the television monitors listing flight departures for your destination, boarding time and gate number. Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure.
